I’d like to direct you to an excellent blog post by Mark Berthelemy at Learning Conversations. He has written a very comprehensive post on the state of corporate learning and development. Do you agree? Is our pursuit of e learning, social learning and the use of the Internet just a cost cutting exercise or a real attempt to optimise a more effective and efficient way to learn? I think the jury is still out on this one. If you look closely you hear about a great deal of change and innovation in learning but on average not much appears to be happening. There is a lot of noise, not much action. Do you see big changes in corporate training? Do you see be changes in the VET sector? What are your thoughts, fears and concerns?
