I have been thinking about passion lately. What are you passionate about? Check the definition here  courteous of wikipedia. I often hear people say that they have a real passion for teaching but what do they mean? Do they love teaching/training or do they just enjoy it. Ken Robinson has written a book, The Element, How finding your passion changes everything. I am keen to read it (when I get time). Maybe you have already read it. What is it like? Personally I have started to think that passion is the one thing or maybe a limited number of things (you couldn’t have too many or you would be worn out) that if you were deprived of these things you would be devastated and your life would be extremely empty. Passion obviously has links to happiness if you agree with my definition. How many of you are passionate about your job as a trainer? I have attached an interesting article which covers the topic, Why Trainers and Presenters have Passion. I think the best trainers I have seen possibly do have a passion for it because when you watch them, listen to them, the energy, love for their topic and deep desire to want to teach you is inspiring and motivating.  How many trainers have you observed who have no passion? Who don’t even care? How much learning occurs?

Why trainers and presenters have passion
