Great video below, with Steven Pinker discussing the absurdity of complex language. I have been writing flat out for a few weeks now, with more writing to go, and I know how difficult it is to explain a complex concept in simple terms. But that is the job. As trainers we should be constantly trying to keep it simple so that the audience, who generally knows less, can understand and learn.
