elearning, evaluation & creativity

This weekend we will be looking at the use of some practical elearning tools. This website is a good example of how many elearning tools are out there – and this isn’t the full list. During the holiday break you might like to try these exercises out on the 23 things weblink.

After next week I will be handing the blog over to you. A roster will indicate when it is your turn to post a blog. This is for the active students in the network but anyone else who wants to get involved can also post – just need to ask me for authorisation. I will still be blogging when I come across relevant information. If you haven’t taken the RSS feed of the blog or become a follower then you should do so immediately as I will not be sending out emails to alert you to posts – time to let the technology do its work.

If you are still struggling with that evaluation unit here is an excellent slideshow on evaluation. I will be converting my own soon into a talking powerpoint.

Finally this is an excellent video clip which I recommend you watch if you haven’t already done so. It is about creativity in schools but it also applies to training in organisations. I have seen too many training programs which stifle creativity, innovation and personal responsibility. It is not difficult to achieve your learning outcomes as well as inspire people to think. Its all in the design and the facilitation techniques.
