Technology and Terminology

Apart from trying to keep up with technology it is difficult to keep up with the terminology and jargon. Every time you turn around there is a new word (jargon) for an old term or a completely new term for something you didn’t  even know existed. In training and assessment I often get the feeling it is almost a weekly event for a new term to emerge. Try explaining to a mixed group of students  what the difference is (if there is any) between objective, aim, goal, outcome, indicator, key performance indicator, deliverable, key result area……..
