We all have to remain competent and in fact as a trainer we have to be a little better than that I think. But how do you do it with limited time and resources? Teaching doesn’t make you current. It might if you were doing something different all the time but doing the same thing over and over again just brings about the same results. You will get better at timing and delivery but not at current content and teaching methodology. I keep current by reading blogs and books, and participating in MOOC’s.
