Well this wasn’t the biggest week I have ever had but it was a tough one. Basically the week looked like this:
Monday – 6:00 up, travel to Sydney, run all day Project Management session, travel back to Coast, run night TAE session, Home 9:40
Tuesday- 6:00 up, travel to Sydney, run all day Leadership Program , travel back to Coast, run night PM session, Home 9:40
Wednesday- 6:00 up, travel to Sydney, run all day Leadership Program , travel back to Coast, run night TAE session, Home 9:40
Thursday- 6:00 up, travel to Sydney, run all day Leadership Program , travel back to Coast, run Q&A PM session online, mark online assessments
Friday- 6:30 up, travel & run morning video conference session to project Managers – 11:00am, travel to next location and start straight into C IV PM till 5pm, Home at 6, write this blog and complete paperwork
Weekend – Marking, consulting work and online assessment.
That’s a busy week. Positive aspect is that it was fun, effective and next week is an easy week. Weeks like this remind you of the dedication and effort required to run your own business.
The key to a successful week like that is great preparation and planning. You have to have everything ready and in it’s place.
Key learning of the week – there are some great employees out there who really want to do a great job. Let them.
Funny moment – the leadership program. Some very interesting and funny people who made the program a joy to deliver. We had some good laughs and we all learnt from each other.
Now, its time to have a beer and watch a dvd. I most likely will not make it to the end. Have a great weekend.
