Another week down and how close is it to Christmas? Can’t believe it. A quiet week for me in one sense but that also means that many responsibilities are coming. A quiet week means delays and indecision for me and hence I have a few projects that need final direction and then a lot of work begins. This week from a training perspective:
Monday – Diploma Project Management
Monday night – Cert IV TAE
Tuesday – Work at home on projects (Three currently in development with clients)
Tuesday night – Diploma Project Management
Wednesday – meeting in Sydney all day with client on new assessment design project
Wednesday night – Cert IV TAE
Thursday – working at home
Thursday night – Dip PM online seminar
Friday morning – Dip PM (video conference session to NSW)
Friday afternoon – Dip PM (in class 5 hrs)
Also throw into this online programs and marking and driving around a lot between sessions.
Surprises this week
- Two different groups booking me into sessions starting the week of the 16th December (I thought I would be on holidays)
- Going bush to visit hospitals on one project
- Writing a video script (again)
- Another client way over-due in decision (not sure why)
Bonus: Got back to some good running in the morning – feel better for it. Also this year essentially booked – anything else is just extra bonus
Concerns: Bush Fires. My house and property are both very open to fires and they are close at times. Been there before but don’t want to go through it again
Extra work. A new computer and camera. It is still painful setting up your computer so it has all of the software installed. Just something else to do.
