Advice is ………just advice.

As we move into a quieter (business) time of the year I start thinking about next year and what I can do and do better. Maybe one thing I could do better is not do that at all. Lots of advice and books and articles that I have read during the year provide a million and one ways to eek out more productive time but maybe, just maybe that is a big waste of time. One thing I have realised this year is that the more proactive I am and ahead of my work the longer it takes to do. I like a bit of chaos and I have found recently that (against all advice) if I leave things till they are nearly ready I get them done quicker and often more effectively.
