What is the Big Merge? It is coming. For some it might even be here. It is when the internet, television, online games, social media and learning all come together seamlessly and we don’t even notice. I don’t think it s far away. The technology is almost there and the generation shift is occurring. Are you ready as a trainer because this is going to occur in your career life span. You will not escape. If you don’t play around now you will be lost in the future as more equipped individuals take over. Start now.

- Start a blog to help others
- Try out some basic elearning in your teaching even if it is just email and text messaging
- Join facebook, twitter, google plus… whatever just experience it
- Play some online games, minecraft, glitch
- Try out second life
- Attend a webinar. Try the eportfolio conference in October
- Download some of these 61 free ebooks on social media
- Try the daily challenge
Some too hard? You haven’t tried yet. Its actually very easy and a lot of fun and it is your job.
