Professional Development

Every trainer needs to include at least some professional development in each year’s calendar. That may not be of a formal type like a seminar or an actual training course but can include reading a few good texts, reading some useful blogs and listening to some related podcasts. I came across two good seminars this week which given some time I would like to attend.

For those involved in the new TAE there are some seminars being held by IBSA. They also have some other good training events. They are reasonably priced.

The other seminar was hosted by ElNet and covers cost effective workplace e-elearning. One of the guest speakers is Tom Kuhlman who has a very good bog and some great tips.

So if you have some spare time and a little bit of cash maybe these seminars might be an appropriate way for you to start this year’s professional development.
