Great to be home despite the fact that I had a fun week delivering TAE training in New Zealand with a group of highly professional trainers and assessors. All of them from the Personal Fitness domain. Their dedication and motivation to provide the best training and assessment experiences to their participants was inspirational. It is a shame I don’t see that all the time here in Australia.
2014 is going to be another year of advancing technology. This will of course affect education and training. Here is an excellent article on the seven big tech trends 0f 2014. They are a bit of a no brainer but it is good to remind yourself where the technology is going and then think about the impact on your role. For me two big areas that will have an impact on me are cloud computing and privacy.
