How is your Sunday going? Normally this post is light, something easy to read and a little off topic but I thought this Sunday it would be a good idea to examine the future of work. I have been considering this lately as I near the end of my working career ( wishful thinking). We are trainers. We train people for jobs and work. That implies that we prepare them for the work that they will often get in the future. But what will work look like in the future? What about us? Is training going to remain the same as it is? Of course not. I am currently delivering a C IV TAE program. Is what I am training them in, going to be relevant in 2 years? Most likely not. So what will your area of VET and work like look in the future? Have you considered this? You are training people for the future. Below is an article about the future of work from Harvard.
