I watched/listened to a webinar today that was very good about the socially networked classroom. Up until today I had never quite got around to logging on to this particular webinar site as I was always busy and the times were often very inconvenient. It had a few little hiccups but generally the technology worked well and I was able to listen to an expert on elearning on the other side of the world as well as chat with other people. The big surprise though was that Ken Robinson would be on next week. If you don’t know who Ken Robinson is then the blog I am going to refer you to will inform you as well as show you a great YouTube video that I watched some time ago. The video is very funny and also thought provoking.  I did a blog post on it. It also inspired me to buy the book (all about passion) which is a good read but not on the essential reading list. Anyway, follow the link and the instructions on how to log on to the webinar, which for those of us in Sydney is at 11am on Wednesday morning (31/3). For those in other locations check the handy time converter. Go in early to elluminate to setup but it doesn’t normally take much time. Hope you can make it and that Ken lives up to his previous speeches.
