I have written previously about the importance of good project management for all trainers and educators and I hope that this post helps. My first training group for the year started this week, back into a Certificate IV in Project Management, and hopefully some of them will also read this post. Mistakes in projects are common, often very destructive, but ultimately avoidable or at least fixable. Check out this article on the ten most common project mistakes and how to correct them.
Mistake number three is very common in my experience and is easy to fix. There are many good project management courses out there which do not cost a fortune, are often Nationally accredited and have excellent trainers. Get yourself on a course this year as project management is a part of everyone’s role and will continue to be a very important skill and knowledge requirement for all future roles.
