I still find it surprising when I find out that professional trainers and assessors do not know about slideshare. This is one of those great resource websites that is free and has a number of uses. First, I would suggest that you just go there and have a look around. Basically the site is a collection (database) of powerpoint slideshows on a multitude of topics that can searched for using keywords. This handy little slideshow takes you through what the site offers – click here. If you watch that slideshow you will see that it has a myriad of uses. I use it to look for ideas on certain topics that I might be presenting. It gives me ideas on content, presentation and key points. I sometimes download one and use it for a class that I am teaching. I have also used the site to upload some of my slideshows so that anyone can watch them, including my students.
